The 619 Rebel jacket from Goldtop sports a classic Perfecto style snap-down lapel and asymmetrical design that provides a double layer of leather between the rider and the elements when zipped up.
Goldtop is a rebooted brand based in England—which produced leather jackets during the days of the actual “café racers.”
After a lengthy slumber the brand has been brought back to life for a new generation of British motorcycle enthusiasts. Goldtop manages to keep costs down with Pakistani manufacturing—but it doesn’t skimp on details. Note the plentifully thick and well oiled leather spec, Aero brand zipper pulls, and double-stitched seams.
Nor does it skimp on safety. The 619 Rebel comes AAA-approved, which is the European Union’s way of saying the jacket is good (in a lab test) for a 75mph slide.
