This chunky tunic-style sweater is so easy to create, it’s oversized look means it’s great for beginners if you’ve never made a garment before and are worried about sizing!
Stripes are an easy way to practise changing colour which is a great skill to have in your knitting arsenal.
The chunky mariner style design is created by working the sweater front and back sideways and then seaming it together to create a boatneck style. Stitches are then picked up for the sleeves, neckline, and hem which are then knitted in the round.
SIZE: Sizes available from 28-inch chest to 62-inch chest, it is designed to be worn with 2-4 inches of ease.
The tunic-style sweater is 74cm / 29 inches in length but is easily adjustable.
